Magician Tony Steward is waving his magic wand to boost an Essex charity event raising funds to help sick children.
Tony has volunteered to perform his amazing close-up magic at a celebration dinner rounding off The Chris Barrell Memorial Charity Golf Day at Woolston Manor in Chigwell on Monday July 26, 2011.
The event will raise money for the charity Clowns in the Sky which funds research and treatment of childhood brain tumours and gives help and support to youngsters and their families.
The charity donates arts and crafts activities to children’s cancer wards around the country, including Queen’s Hospital in Romford where a sensory trolley has been provided.
Apart from performing table magic at the golf dinner, Tony will be compere for an auction and raffle. He says: “Clowns in the Sky is a charity which is run by volunteers who do fantastic work with children during their long stays in hospital. I’m delighted to give them a helping hand.”
