Making dreams come true

The Dream Factory logoWedding magician Tony Steward will be taking on a 007 role to make some extra-special dreams come true for children and young people.

Tony has accepted a charity invitation to appear at a 007 Casino Night at Woolston Manor Golf and Country Club at Chigwell in Essex on Friday October 7, 2011.

The event is being organised by The Dream Factory which makes dreams come true for youngsters with severe disabilities, life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses. It will be the charity’s second event which Tony has supported, the first being a Snow Ball in November 2010 which was an outstanding success.

In January, The Dream Factory organiser Avril Mills wrote to Tony saying: “I think everyone there was truly amazed by your performance! I know I certainly was, which is why I had no hesitation in asking for your help again for our forthcoming event this year.”

Tony is promising Casino Night guests a chance to experience special close-up magic ‘so amazing that even Agent 007 James Bond would be mystified’ and he will be joining a line-up of live entertainers at the £40-a-head event which will also feature Bond Girls, buffet and a prize raffle.

Cash raised at the event will help to fulfil youngsters’ dreams and wishes ranging from a bedroom makeover to an iPad, a mobile phone with mp3 player, swimming with dolphins, a Butlins holiday or a day at the zoo.

Tony says: “The Dream Factory is a wonderful charity which does some amazing work and I’m delighted to lend my support.”

The master of magic is more accustomed to his role as a wedding magician in Essex, Kent, Hertfordshire and London but he says he is relishing the challenge of his first 007 mission … to develop some Bond-themed tricks and illusions.
